Update. Either the sizing has changed in the last year, or sizing isn’t consistent. Last year, I bought these in an xs (green) and they were slightly too small. This winter, I bought a medium and a small in purple to replace the xs, both were too big. I had a suspicion and got the purple again in xs and they’re perfect. I’m planning to get more in whichever colours fit, as I’m outdoors a lot in the cold.Idk if sizing changed, green runs small, or purple runs large, but play around here a bit. They’re not sized equally.——— I am the owner of a very boyish figure. I have a straight waist, narrow hips, and really skinny legs. So any higher waisted pants are always challenging. These, as great as they are, are no exception. I just got my third pair of these in the hopes of getting a pair that fit. The xs, which I got a year ago, and did keep, was perfect everywhere but too snug in the waist for the comfort needed for a day of robust activity. The medium was massive in the thighs and too large in the waist. The small fits my waist, but the thighs are still too big for thermal wear. I like my cold weather clothing to fit close for warmth. And it seems that no size I can get in these pants will work perfectly.I’m going to probably stick with xs and some spanx. If that doesn’t work, sadly, these functional and well priced little pants are just not for me. But if you don’t have a figure like mine, you should get them. They’re great for their purpose. They’re quite warm. You’re not going to get the windproofing or waterproofing you’d get with gore tex, but you won’t get gore tex for this price. For the price, they do exactly what you’d expect something twice the price to do.Got size medium pants which typically work for my spouse. She had to really work the pants on. I am concerned that due to skin tightness and poor elasticity, she will not be able to wear other insulating layers for skiing. In addition the bottoms are cut narrow and are not likely to fit over the top of a ski boot which is essential for skiing. They look stylish and comfortable. Waist size is appropriate, Might fit rather slender legs without issue.I found these pants to be really waterproof. I wore them out in Alaska when it rained. I felt warm and dry the whole time as long as I layered up. The only thing that happened was the right front zipper got stuck and ripped off. Oh and every time I wore these through the airport I was stopped and padded down by TSA. The monitor kept saying I had something in my pants when I did not. I will totally be buying another color but not wearing them through TSA again.True to size. These are very comfy and warm. So many pockets is a nice bonus. The fleece on the inside is so soft. These are my new favorite everyday winter pants and I'll be buying a few more pairs. Highly recommend ?Light weight snow pants that really keep me warm and dry.We haven't had any very cold weather to try these out in yet, but I think they will be nice when we do. I tried them out on one of our cooler days to get an idea of what they will be like and I think they will keep me warm. The fleece lining is relatively thin, but very soft and seems to add a good amount of warmth. These have the traditional swishy sound of snow pants but not that obnoxious puffy look. It feels like these will be good at staying dry as well. I look forward to wearing these for my cold weather hikes and on the days when the kids convince me I should play in the snow with them.I love all the pocket options! There are 4 good sized pockets, all with zipper closure. The waist seems pretty comfortable when I'm moving around, but sometimes not all that comfortable while I am sitting. It is partial elastic so it does adjust to fit.Overall, these pants look pretty nice and seem warm. They are super soft to wear as well. I think I probably needed to go a size down though. I'm not very good about paying attention to the size charts because I feel my measurements always fall in different sizes. I am about 5'4" and the articulated knees fall below my knees on these medium pants. These are very nice fleece lined winter pants that can be worn for any winter activity. They are as pictured and the pockets are usable, not just decorative like some women's pants. The pictures depict a slender built woman, not a curvy woman. I'm a curvy and ordered using the size chart as a guide (hip measurement). The mediums fit very well and do not hug my rear. A slender build may find the pants to be too loose in the rear - hard to say as I've never had this issue. The waist has elastic, so can stretch to fit if necessary. The length is also perfect - probably a 29"-30" inseam. At 5'6", I will not need to hem the pants. The outer fabric is polyester and will make some noise when you walk, but not anything as loud as the old puffy ski pants from the 80's. The two-tone design is an interesting choice - it brings the eye down to your crotch area - even the black on black.
