I'm new to snowboarding and needed some outer layers to get the job done without having to buy XYZ brand and overpay. Unfortunately, the season is pretty much over and the only snow in the local mountain is dirty with runoff and patches. Anyway, on to the pants: they have a pretty sturdy build and have a nice and soft fleece liner. The lining goes into the boot and the outer shell fits over the boot. There are velcro straps at the ankles that allow you to keep them out of the bindings. There are also zippers on the side to widen the opening like track pants the heel area of the pants at reinforced with extra material to help prevent fraying from dragging around.Moving up the leg, there are reinforced knees just like the heel. The cargo pockets are nice and roomy with a unique external elastic expansion system. The pockets are also fleece lined. Inside of the leg on the knees, you'll find vent zippers which I imagine are really useful when you're cooking up after a few runs.On the seat of the pants, you'll see that it's reinforced all the way from the lower waist to crotch just like military pants. The back pockets are velcro flap and zippered with a fleece lining.On the face of the pants, there are 3 pockets, two regular pants pockets just like the back, and a third on the left thigh right under the regular pocket. This one is also velcro flap, zippered, and lined. The waist band is very secure with a double velcro and sturdy zipper. There are also adjustable velcro waist straps with thick belt loops, two of which have D rings.I bought these in medium and they are fitted to my body. I'm 5'10 190lbs with a muscular build. My waist is a 32, and these fit very well especially since I'm not a fan of the baggy look.All in all, the pants are sold and customer service was very courteous and helpful with processing the order.Great pants. Warm. Many pockets. Dry. Has a peculiar odor to it though. Like plastic. Unlike other snowboard pants, best to order size that you truly believe you need and not a inch more.I love the pants, but make sure you order at least two sizes up. I'm a 38 waist and while typically I can fit into a L or XL, I needed the XXL in order to properly fit. That being said, the pants are comfortable and warm, and I'm looking forward to using them this winter.My fiancé loves these pants. He snowboards 30-40 days a year. He is on his 2nd or 3rd year of them. I do have to re-sew the Velcro in a few spots.I really love this pantSuper warm, 100% waterproofextremely confortableAnd COOLThe only con is the shipping time at a regular shippingGreat product. It fits perfectly and looks very nice.Great pants love all of the pockets bought an expensive pair of Oakley pants in case these didn't ship in time and ended up liking these much better than the Oakleys.These came just in time for Christmas, fit as expected and they were exactly what my son wanted. He loves them!
