Tight fit! They convert American sizes into European sized pants. Bought my husband a size 36 so he would have a little wiggle room (he's usually between a 34-36) he says they feel like cowboy jeans. He does however like the double stitching around the pockets and the lightweight feel of the material. He's hoping they stretch out a bit with use. I'll update in a few months with how they are faring with a few months in a welding school.
