These pants are super soft, have a cute band at the ankle, and are light and flowy. The waistband is deceiving though, and for someone that has a pooch and a bit of a fluffy midsection, it’s an important factor in pants. The cloth waistband is wide, but inside that is a thin little strip of elastic floating around, that makes the entire pant completely unflattering and uncomfortable. The strip of elastic was already twisted inside the waistband and I took them off immediately upon putting them on. The search continues for the perfect, flattering pair of harem pants for this summer.I love these pants. They’re amazingly comfortable that I even choose them over the traditional leggings I normally wear when I’m going for a casual look. They’ve got a good stretch that you can size down and they’re still comfortable. I’m only 5’-3” on a good day but with the cuff at the bottom they’re easily to adjust for my height. There are even times I’ll bring the cuff up to my knees such as at the beach or stream and not wanting to undress and submerse myself they’re much easier to just “roll up” the pant leg and drip my feet in up to my calf. They’re now my go-to pants for heading out in a beach trip with my swimsuit underneath because they’re easy to remove and put back on. I now have a pair in the gray as well. They both fit the waist well, though I do have to roll the band on the black on after washing as it seems to get twisted up a bit in the wash. They both wash well with no pilling and haven’t faded yet. I do a cold wash and lowest beast possible in the dryer, washed with other like items and delicates (so no towels or jeans). I hope these last me a long while!I had a pair of these in high school and college in the 1980s. I wore them everywhere! When I saw these on Amazon last week, I thought I'd try them again. I'm here to tell you... these are the most comfy things on the planet. Never has "where have these been all my life" been more of an appropriate phrase. I'm wearing them today. I am 5;6" and 190lbs. I bought an XL. The fit is perfect These are so versatile. You can dress them up, you can lounge in them, you can wear as pajamas. They are a must have. I don't think I've ever reviewed anything that I would give a higher rating than these.I bought one pair of these because I don't like shorts, and after living in Thailand I loved the light weight harem pants look that are sold there. I needed something a little more forgiving for my body type, easy to put on and match with anything since I am running around with my toddler and working at home during the day too. These are very soft, lightweight and fit as expected. I am 5'8'' and curvy and I ordered an extra large and they fit really well. I ordered 3 pairs of the black, but I did order the grey, which I liked but I found that the grey is hard to get spots out of and doesn't wash up as well. I wish there were other darker colors available in these, I would buy more!These are very comfortable and easy care. Just wash, hang, dry and wear. They're the right weight as in-between sweats and although I only wear them around the house, they are attractive enough to wear out and about.These are very comfortable, super stretchy, and fit perfectly width-wise, but they are VERY long. I prefer to wear lounge pants at just below my belly button, and if I want to wear these pants without the bottom of the legs being super droopy and baggy around the butt, I have to fold over the waistband...otherwise they could almost be worn as a sleeveless romper. On that note, they are great for those with much butt. Almost. I deduct a star because while the waistband appears fairly long, the elastic is fairly thin, so folded over, the excess fabric can kind of flop around and be a bit bulky---but this isn't a bother if you're just lounging around the house in them.5'6" with 32" waist and 44" hips, I ordered a L.I wish the elastic inside the waistband was the same width as the visual waist - it would enhance the look & feel by a lot, I don't like thin bands. Also have to tuck some of the fabric at the bottom into the bottom cuffs otherwise what hangs over almost makes them look full length anyway. But the fabric is VERY nice & soft, & substantial feeling, not cheap or low quality. Very comfortable.I like these. But the waist band is odd. It fits but after the wash the waistband feels twisted even though it’s not. It doesn’t always lay flat and the over all shape isn’t very flattering to my curvy figure plus see through. So I wear them to workout or around the house.If you love pants with a little swing, these are for you. They are very light so those who prefer heavier material should stay away from these. However, when the weather is warm, the evenings alive with mosquitoes (no, let’s say music) and you want to feel exotic in genie pants then order these. They are brilliantly comfortable and fun to wear. They are not meant to be thrown into the washer and dryer repeatedly. The material is far too delicate and it is suggested that they be hand washed. This is why I purchased a pair in black. I also bought a pair in gray for my mom and she is in love with them. I’m not sure if she has missed a day of wearing them since she received them. So if you don’t mind a little extra care with your clothing, purchase a pair. These pants will have you dancing around the house just to feel the material sway softly against your legs.I love these! They are super comfy and lightweight. I usually wear a large (10-12)but based on their measurement chart, ordered an x-large to be on the safe side. However, this was totally not necessary because the waist has loads of stretch..completely elasticized. So they definitely are wearable but there is lots of leg room. I will be ordering an additional pair but will go with my usual size next time.Super soft, cozy and comfortable. I’m a size 12 and the XXL fits perfectly, not too tight or loose around the waist. Just got them today and I love them so much, I am going to order other colours.I absolutely love these pants and will be ordering more. I work in a school with young children and need something professional,comfortable, and fit right. I am 5'9" and have a 33" inseam. Finding a pant with the right inseam is very important to me. These pants are perfect!! I wore them to work yesterday and it didn't feel like I was wearing pants!! I spend 2hours outside and its hot. The black pants were comfortable and my legs were not hot because they have a beautiful flow to them. They are hand wash just to give people a heads up but I am okay with that. Love these pants!!Nice lightweight material, good for summer evenings to keep the mosquitos off without being too hot.Waistband is the same material as the pants with a thick elastic inside - no compression or anything, comfortable though.I am usually a medium (5'2 140lbs) and ordered these in a small as suggested by amazon. They fit fine - a medium would have been a baggier more harem look but I'm happy with what I received.The tag does say handwash or dry clean... I have not washed them yet but hopefully they survive the washing machine!
